Ingredients
- 600 g wheat flour (type 550)
- 14 g salt
- 1/2 teaspoon dry yeast
- 400 g lukewarm water
- Sesame seeds

Method

1In a large bowl, mix the flour with the salt and yeast. Add the water, stir into the flour with a wooden spoon, and knead with your hands to form a smooth dough. Cover the dough and leave it to rise at room temperature for about 18 hours.

2Dust the work surface generously with flour. Next, dust the bread dough with a little flour and knead it twice. Fold in twice. Gently turn the dough to stretch it and shape it into a curl. Close the ends together. Drizzle the bread curl with a little lukewarm water.

3Sprinkle with sesame seeds, place in the bread tin and leave to rise, covered, for about 30 minutes.

4Preheat the oven to 250°C. Bake the bread in the Le Creuset Bread Oven (with the lid on) for 35 minutes. Then remove the lid, and bake uncovered for another 8-10 minutes. Remove the bread and leave to cool on a rack.
