Now 4 x stronger*, the new 3-layer reinforced coating used on the inside of every Le Creuset Toughened Non-Stick pan is now even more durable and resistant to abrasion from metal utensils while the tough exterior coating protects the outside of each pan to help retain its good looks. Our non-stick will never flake or peel during use and food releases flawlessly allowing you to cook with little or no fat or oil for healthier results.

Toughened Non-Stick Cookware Cooking Tips

Here are a few cooking tips to help you get the most from your cookware:

#1:

Before using your Toughened Non-Stick cookware for the first time, condition the interior surface by rubbing a film of vegetable or corn oil over the entire cooking surface with a paper towel. Rinse the pan with hot water and dry thoroughly. Occasional re-conditioning after this is recommended.

#2:

Always match the pan’s base size to the cooking zone to maximise efficiency, especially for induction cooking, where a mismatched size could cause weaker or no heat output.

#3:

The Toughened Non-stick range offers an ideal surface for healthier cooking. If cooking with fat or oil, simply add a small amount to the cooking surface before heating begins. This will improve the flavour and browning of foods.

#4:

When cooking with no added fat or oil, preheat the pan on a medium setting for approximately 2 minutes before adding the food. Stay close by so you can be sure the pan doesn’t get too hot.

#5:

Use low to medium heat settings during cooking. For searing or stir-frying, start with a medium to higher-heat setting, but once the pan is hot enough and the food is added, turn down the heat. You will still get a perfectly golden-brown sear on your food.
 

Caring For Your Toughened Non-Stick Cookware

Tools To Use:

To protect your pans we recommend using Le Creuset Silicone Tools, which have been specially designed to be gentle on cookware.

Metal tools, spoons or balloon whisks may be used with caution. However, knives, utensils with sharp edges, beaters or blenders should not be used on the non-stick surface.

Cleaning Up:

Cleaning is effortless with Toughened Non-Stick. After cooking, allow the pan to cool completely. Simply use a soft sponge to wash with hot soapy water then rinse and dry thoroughly afterwards. We recommend using our fabric Pan Protectors when stacking and storing pans.

Although safe for the dishwasher, we recommend washing by hand to prolong the life of the non-stick surface and enhance cooking performance.
