Le Creuset Stoneware is incredibly versatile and can be safely used in the microwave, freezer, refrigerator, dishwasher, and oven, with a maximum oven-safe temperature of 500°F / 260°C. Remember to always use oven mitts when handling hot Stoneware.

When using our ovenproof Stoneware under a grill, make sure to maintain a gap of at least 6.5cm between the rim of the dish and the heat source to prevent overheating. Additionally, be cautious of hot handles, especially during prolonged microwave use, and avoid covering the handles with plastic wrap.


To ensure even heating, refrain from placing a frozen dish directly into a preheated oven. Instead, place the frozen dish in a cold oven and allow both the dish and oven to heat up together. Before serving, always check that the centre of the food is thoroughly heated.
